My process starts off with research, then brainstorming, sketching, sharing, getting feedback and refining until every detail is worked out. The final pencil sketch serves as a guideline for the scratchboard rendering. Once the B&W scratchboard art is completed, it is then scanned into the computer where additional adjustments and color can be applied. Once digitized, the image is much easier to edit for changes and/or adjustments in color. Final art is provided as a bitmap or vector file.
