Roger Xavier’s line drawings evoke old world etchings, engravings and woodcuts - but with a 21st century edge ideally suited to dynamic advertising, package design, logos and other promotional purposes. Roger’s illustrations have been featured prominently in myriad books, magazines, logos, packaging, POP, billboards, brochures, products, movies and conceptual presentations. His work has been accepted into several award shows including The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles' (Gold and Silver Medals in B&W); Annual Report 100 awards show, Creativity, Print's Regional Design Annual, Graphis, and the Mead Paper awards.
Much of his work parallels an interest in the blending of art and design, as well as the new and the old. The work can be dramatic and quite powerful or very delicate and precise.
